The seed sauce is made from natural pulp of palm fruit. Traditionally, palm seeds are cooked and then dead to recover their juice. It is an essential ingredient in West African cuisine, particularly in Côte d'Ivoire, Ghana, Guinea, Nigeria, etc. The seed sauce can be prepared with beef, lamb, chicken goat meat or fresh or smoked fish.
